Things Change.. People Change.. Circumstances Change… She had noticed him change over the years as well...

From being totally head over heels for eachother it came down to hardly talking in a day…

I don’t have time, there is a lot going on in office. He always replied.

But he always seemed to find time for everything else that he wished to do.

She had gotten used to it as well… only meet occasionally or when there was a necessity. She soon found out there was another girl.

No brownie points for guessing that the unfortunate breakup followed.

It’s the time after that what messed her up. Abuses and insults followed which she couldn’t take.

 Is it so difficult to part ways with both their dignities intact and without creating all the mess which does nothing but insults the very relationship that they had. 

Books, Chocolate and Conversations!

Sometimes when you are caught up with work, people and the daily monotonous routine we tend to forget to take a day out and do what you like... this last couple of days were and are continuing to be difficult for me so a delightful break came when a friend suggested that we go KitabKhaana, a beautiful place with lovely collection of books ( I am sure many of those books are not available at Crosswords, atleast I haven’t come across them at the one which is near my place)  and a small café inside which serves by far the most amazing Hot Chocolate ever!!! The café is bright, cozy and quiet perfect for some nice conversations and to catch up with friends. ( I forgot to take the picture but if you are ever in the Fort area please do check this place out ) So I was here with a friend and the talks just kept going on and on with Hot Chocolate and some Sandwiches! Trust me if you have the right people around you can never realise when and how the time flies :)

The bookshop can make any book lover spend hours at end there, just the way I ended up doing. I really don’t understand how did I miss out on this place for so long.  Its spacious with lots of genre of books. I went on a Sunday so maybe that’s why it wasn’t much crowded which multiplied the fun of book hunt. They have a very cute kids corner as well.

A friend got me these books...   a million thanks to him for all this :) it sure has become one of my favourite  things  –

Things to remember when Dating a Journalist

nternet is a funny place and these days it has become so much of a part of our daily life that you start and end your day with it.  I actually have got into a habit to googleeverything. You tweet, Instagram, Facebook Update, Foursquare Update almost everything that you do and actually find happiness in it, anyway this post is not about that… this is about something interesting I came across online today. I saw a facebook update about  “15 Reasons to Date a Lawyer” obviously me being me quickly googled “Reasons to Date a Journalist” and I was actually amazed that there was this whole list of things that came up, pretty fascinating actually.

Following are the Things to remember when Dating a Journalist –

1. Time is less of a problem. Yes! Journalist don’t have a 9to5 job and thus it’s always easier for them to squeeze in time for you and multitask.

2.  Journalistare dead serious about Deadlines and Time, if you are a person who doesn’t like to wait for your significant other Journalists are the people for you. They are always on Time, very serious about
Deadlines etc there is a drawback to it as well for eg – You are not allowed to come late.

3. There is a pretty good chance that you’ll end up discussing latest news, Politics etcon your date.

4.They always have topics to talk on. There won’t be a time when you are out of topics ( so awkward silences go right out of the window ) they also are great at parties or family event

5. They are good listeners. Journalists have an inbuilt talent to hear out the story, they love to listen to people and get more information about them. So if someday you just want someone to talk to, it’s time to call up that Journalist friend.

6. They are trustworthy… Journalists have a thing for loyalty and trust. It would be obviously appreciated if there is trust, loyalty and transparency in the relationship

7.They also have a knack of thinking on their toe, being adventurous and less of a drama queen.

8.   Journalists do get invited at all the major parties and events happening in the city.

9. It’s pointless to try and hide things from them, they are going to eventually going to find out the truth 
( actually I think this applies to all girls )

10. Journalists are super serious and dedicated to their job. So its not like other things are less important it’sjust that their job is important than anything else.

11. Journalists wants to know EVERYTHING, every small detail counts!

12. Journalists have a opinion on everything.

13.  Journalists are on Social Media… in other words they are everywhere on Social Media!

Curly Hair Problems!

Hellooo.. today seems to be a good day as somehow my always messy, out of control and unmanageable hair has decided to make me feel good and are actually looking and feeling super awesome! But that’s not what the post is about, the post is about the problems and the horrors that girls with curly hair go through. I was online the other day when I came across these Meme ( or whatever they are called ) and after each one I went like WTF! This is so true!!! :D

 I am just going to post all those pictures in hear so that all the beautiful curly hair girls out there can relate to and people with not curly hair can understand how much of a task it is to manage curls!
